Any idea what score i got over 200 think it was 225 and not a single thing that was with 4 or more strikes and spares and a few small misses but a pretty good game so you must need near perfect to get his trophy

I am having trouble getting the trophy too. I thought I had it all figured out, the right placement to begin and where to aim, but I'm still not consistent. Seems like I had at least 5 or 6 strikes in one game, you'd think that might be good! But the highest score I've paid attention to was only 221.
A score of 201 got us the game in the game room, and "the one that didn't get away" LOL
At least all the playing paid off with getting a gem shard!

My five year old son was able to score a 270 on this game, while I am still mostly getting less than 200. He sings this little song while he's playing. "Eyes on top, fingers on the bottom". Evidently, he lines up Glub's eyes on the middle two wood grain lines on the lane. Then he puts the two points of the arrow just above the middle pins. He literally gets a strike 90% of the time.

Here's the positioning I tried from Delphine's description, and it sure does seem to work! (Thanks Del!)
A shift of either Glub or the cursor by even a couple of pixels left or right can turn a strike into an 8 or 9, but once you get it lined up right, strike, strike, strike!

I find it odd that this game requires so much precision to win a trophy or shard. For a child I think it can get very frustrating - I know I am frustrated. After playing for an hour I cannot get past 244 score. No trophy...no shard. All the other games seemed more reasonable. I have been playing this game on and off for 2 days with pretty good scores in order to see if I can get the shard because my 4 year old loves Funkeys so much. On the bright side, I do have to say that all the tips in this forum were very helpful.

Yes, so true but when I sat down to get this games trophy I was not doing anything else until I got it. I probably played for an hour or more, but it was so wonderful once I finally got it! Hopfully I never have to get that trophy again haha. (Since I'm saying that I know I will have to)

My daughter earned a gem shard today with a score of 193. She said she got six strikes so I don't know if that had something to do with it. I showed her one time how to play the game and she did so well. I played again for my 4 year old son and got a high score of 248. No gem shard or trophy. This is the only game I have been playing over and over and over because I am so determined to get that darn shard!
