This question is still the biggest question out there.......what does the big red button do that is on Laputa Station?

Until someone finds out the answer, what are your guesses?

My guess: Up along the top edge of the map are stone walls, some of which have carvings and diagrams that appear to be doors... maybe at some point the button will trigger something that opens one (or more) of these doors...

Then again, the button may have some special effect... like "Hit this button 416 times to cause your Funkey to explode in frustration..." -lol-

My guess from a ten year old's perspective, is that if you push it once, or maybe twice, something happens somewhere on the map, but that hitting it again may close or undo the action so it is hard to know if it did work. Or that there is a set number of hits that activates something...so I am going to keep hitting it when I pass it.

My son thought maybe the expressions on the stone faces in Magma Gorge would change. Checked it out, and not so! Is it a faint laugh or water that you hear when you push it?
We just pushed it a bunch of times and listened and it doesn't sound like either to me! But my son says it sounds like a faint laugh. I wonder if it's supposed to be Master Lox. And if so, maybe we'll find out what it does after we get all of the gem shards from Laputta Station.

um well i know that a long time ago there was a miner who diged and found a button he was so tires so he pushed it the next morning. then he went to work.then gas was coming out after he pressed te button where he found it. then he ran away. here is though a faint laugh that you hear.... is it the miner guy??? ??? i found cail web site so trust me!

The miner did find the button which he dragged above ground and gathered towns folk to tell them what it was (its secret) but when they gathered the mine collapsed and miner was never to be seen again.....Laughs are meant to be him laughing that we dont know what it does pretty much first person to correctly say what it is wins a coin amout but there is no where i have seen or heard of anywhere you can try to claim this....... So drewdude whoever told you that was incorrect there is a point to what people are trying to guess go TO Funkeys.com and read the story in the Frequently asked Questions area i think it was,,,, ;)

I would also like more info on this-- we have completed lots of stuff and gotten lots of shards (no completes though) and still the button only sounds like an engine trying to turn over......
(at least on our game that's what it sounds like)

I just got the Funkeys starter set with Lotus and Deuce and I need help. How do you get to Laputa Station? What other Funkeys should I get?

Laputta station is located at the top. Go to the middle of Funkeystown, then straight up near the racing complex, just to the right of it.

The Funkeys that can get into Laputta Station are Xener, Vroom, Boggle and Fallout.
