This is the coolest game - it's easy for kids as well!! A score of 1142 got us the trophy, flag & Speed Racer car...

Can anyone give an estimate of average lap time or total for the three laps to earn the trophy and stuff?

OK so far 2115 for Speed Racer with a time of about 3 min 14 seconds

I really wonder if something in our computer or graphics makes this game run slow. Even staying on the track fairly well we can't get below about a minute 45 per lap.

Does it really slow down on the loops and coming out of them for everyone else?

yes i think that's part of the game. and heres a tip, if ur going fast, SLOW DOWN ON THE CURVES OR ULL WIPE OUT!!!!!

It's amazing what a few seconds can do for points in this game. Just got 2394 pts with a time of 3 min 10.134 seconds. It's getting tough to shave the time below 3:12

I never use the brakes, just full power and slide thru some of the turns, try to aim as best as possible without too much oversteering.
